Seems to be working fine in other browsers, but when using IE 8 it shows briefly than disappears.  Using the quick start setup with the latest version of SU.

What version of IE and Windows do you have? When the button disappears, does anything appear in its place? Some versions of IE are incompatible with the skinning method we use, so SlickUpload switches to downlevel unskinned mode and display a normal file input instead of the skinned button.

We're working on a new build with a couple of skinning related fixes. You can grab that here: http://krystalware.com/files/slickupload-6.1.zip. Let me know if that solves the issue.

Try this build: http://krystalware.com/Files/SlickUpload-6.1-OpacityFix.zip.

It appears that the IE opacity filter will silently break on certain machines based on element size and graphics card. nVidia cards seem to work fine, ATI cards have issues. We haven't been able to repro the issue here, so it's hard for us to track down exactly what's causing it, but this fix has worked for other customers.

Let me know if this solves the issue for you.
