I'm getting the following error in my event log, while attempting to install, which is causing the installer to roll back. Has anyone seen this:

Product: SlickUpload -- Error 1722. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Action ToolboxInstall2003, location: C:\WINDOWS\Installer\MSI22D6.tmp, command: Krystalware "C:\Program Files\SlickUpload\Bin-1.1\Krystalware.SlickUpload.dll" VS2003 true

I suspect the problem is a corrupt visual studio 2003 install, and my next action will be to attempt to remove it, since I don't use it anymore anyhow.

That is what I would figure. You can also download the .zip package instead of using the installer and follow the instructions here: http://krystalware.com/products/slickupload/Documentation/installation.aspx to add it to the toolbox (specifically, step 2). It's pretty simple to get started even without the installer. Just open the samples project or run through the quick start: http://krystalware.com/Products/SlickUpload/Documentation/quick-start.aspx.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Since it was far less intrusive than uninstalling vs2003, I opted for copying the dll to the bin dir and manually adding it to the toolbox, and all is well.
