We have an interesting situation that we're having problems figuring out. While using Internet Explorer 8, when a user selects the "Add File" button from SlickUpload, the Choose File to Upload dialog does not always want to appear. Sometimes if you wait 5 or 10 seconds and then try pressing the button again, it will appear. And yes, we are giving the page more than enough time to load properly before trying it out. :-)

We have also tested other browsers (Chrome, Safari, and FireFox) and it is only happening with Internet Explorer. Does anyone have any ideas?

We're using version 5.5.3.0 of SlickUpload.

Can you try upgrading to version v5.5.11 (the latest v5 build from here: http://slickupload.com/download)?

We just upgraded to version 5.5.11 and there is still no success. When it fails, the page appears to be doing a post back instead of showing the dialog. After a few attempts, the dialog box eventually appears. Right now, we just have one page where this problem is occuring. The other pages where we are using the same object, it works as expected.

We are testing with IE 8.0.6

Would it be possible to give me a url, username, and password, so I can get in and reproduce the issue from here? You can email me at chris@slickupload.com. If you can get me in, I'll give you a debug build to install so I can step through the javascript to see what's going on.

Also, do you se this issue only in IE 8, or also IE 7 and IE 9?
